Additives/Extracts

Substances or mixtures of substances used to manufacture drug (medicinal) products may be synthesized or extracted from naturally derived sources. These products often require the removal of reaction by-products, color bodies or deformable solids to produce high quality pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or other healthcare products that meet both consumer expectation and regulatory standards. Adsorbent technologies that provide rapid kinetics of fine particles with excellent filtration characteristics are often a critical part of the process. Subsequent to these processes, the capture of any downstream particles or the critical removal of microbial contamination are necessary prior to packaging or incorporation into the final product.
