Our activated carbon media is primarily made from coconut shell carbon, which constitutes over 82% of the media by weight, enhancing adsorption efficiency. Available in various configurations including bulk rolls, pleated extended surface filters, flat sheet filters, and wrapped filters, PLEKX® offers versatile solutions for diverse applications.
Optional chemical impregnations boost performance in critical gas applications. Flexible and non-dusting, PLEKX® filters can be co-pleated with our HEPAfine® and ULPAfine® media for comprehensive dual-functional filtration of both particulate matter and gases/odors. Ideal for replacing traditional carbon beds, PLEKX® is used in applications ranging from medical and surgical source capture to industrial vacuum cleaner filters, personal protection equipment, and smoke/fume exhaust systems.
