ECS -002 Use of Ecosorb® to Improve Beet Factory Operation

Ecosorb S-502 was evaluated at a US beet sugar factory in order to enhance the operational efficiency during the late season when beet quality declines. By incorporating Ecosorb into the clear juice process, significant improvements were observed in color and turbidity reduction, filter cycle longevity, and overall sugar yield. The trials demonstrated that Ecosorb effectively mitigates the challenges posed by deteriorating beet quality, leading to better processing outcomes.
