Understanding HFRF Filter Configurations: P2 vs. P30 for Optimal Flow

The HFRF system is available in two primary configurations: P2/P2F and P30. The P2/P2Fconfiguration for the HFRF filter element is specifically designed for low-flow applications due to its minimal orifice size. In contrast, the HFRF filter element, when utilized with a P30 end cap, offers significantly improved flow characteristics. Given these differences, we are offering both P2 and P30 options for new installations of the High Flow RF Housing. It is crucial to recommend the appropriate configuration based on the specific application requirements.

• P2Recommendation: Recommend the P2 configuration primarily for applications where smooth,low-flow operation is essential.

• P30Recommendation: Recommended for water applications, or any application requiring higher flow rates and minimal pressure drop, the P30 configuration is the preferred choice.
