Solutions We Offer in Reverse Osmosis Pre-Filter

We provide the following pre-filters for industrial reverse osmosis systems:

1. GLP™ Series Filter Housings: These housings are constructed from durable 316 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and meeting general industrial and commercial filtration needs. All wetted welded surfaces are made from stainless steel, while the external surface is electrolyzed and the internal surface is acid-washed for a consistent, easy-to-care-for finish. Designed for flexibility and efficiency, these housings feature V-band clamps or swing bolts for quick cartridge changeouts.

2. GHP™ Series Filter Housings: They are designed for high-purity filtration applications and constructed from durable 316L stainless steel, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance. Designed to meet 3A standards, these housings minimize hold-up volumes, facilitate easy draining, and provide optimized cleanability. The external surfaces are mechanically polished, while the internal surfaces are acid-washed to provide a consistent, low-maintenance finish. The GHP Series accommodates a wide range of cartridges, including 5", 10", 20", 30", and 40" sizes in DOE or 222/226 configurations, supporting cartridges up to 2 3/4" OD.

3. Stratum®: Stratum® filters deliver 99.9% efficiency at the stated micron for pre-RO filtration applications.  They feature multi-zone melt-blown depth construction, thermally bonded fibers, and a molded center core.  They provide high dirt-holding capacity, long service life, and are compatible with elevated temperatures and pressures.

4. High Flow: Graver High Flow Series filters feature a larger geometry to handle higher flows with fewer filter elements. The result is much faster, easier filter changeouts. In addition, the inside to outside flow allows for excellent dirt holding capacity, extending the time between filter changeouts.

5. QXL: With its extra-loft, extra-life depth filter configuration, the QXL is designed for the filtration of industrial solutions containing agglomerated particles and gels or with high viscosity. Consistent absolute retention performance is achieved throughout the pleated, layered microfiber matrix. The state-of-the-art, optimized structure provides significantly higher flow rates and throughputs than cylindrical melt blown filters.

6. QMC: An innovative product manufactured with multiple layers of melt blown polypropylene media. This unique structure allows high flow rates while maintaining low differential pressure and ideal depth filtration characteristics.

Key Features of Industrial Pre-RO filters

• Protect RO Membranes from Fouling: Our pre-RO filters act as the first line of defense, preventing sediments, chemicals, and particles from reaching and damaging your RO system.

• Efficient Downstream Filtration: They are designed to trap residual impurities after sand, resin, and carbon beds, ensuring that only clean water enters the RO membrane.

• High Flow with Compact Design: Their compact sizes, yet large geometry options, allow for maximum efficiency and high flow rates while minimizing space requirements, making them ideal for industrial setups.

• Durable Construction: Built to withstand industrial water conditions, these filters ensure long-term performance and reduce maintenance needs.

• Consistent Water Quality: These filters help maintain uniform filtration efficiency, safeguarding RO systems against scaling, corrosion, and unexpected downtime.

• Easy Maintenance: Filter replacement and cleaning are simple and quick, keeping operations smooth and minimizing system interruptions.

Applications of Our Pre-RO Filters

Graver Tech’s Pre-RO filters are designed to support a wide range of industries that utilize Reverse osmosis (RO) water.

Power generation industry applications:

• Nuclear Power Plants (BWR & PWR): Pre-RO systems provide high-quality makeup water in nuclear power facilities, ensuring the steam condensate cycle remains balanced. Our Pre-RO filters treat raw water before it enters the reactors in both Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) and Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) plants. This process protects critical systems, ensuring optimal performance and water quality throughout the cycle.

• Fossil Fuel Power Plants: In fossil fuel power generation, Pre-RO treated water is added to condensate storage tanks that feed directly into the boiler systems. This step ensures consistent feedwater quality for steam generation.

• Cogeneration and Industrial Power Systems: In cogeneration and industrial plants with on-site power generation, Pre-RO filters maintain essential water quality for efficient operation. Whether it's for cooling, steam generation, or other processes, our RO water pre filter systems ensure that water used in power cycles is free from contaminants.

Food and Beverage Production:

• The food and beverage industry uses RO water for consistent product quality and safety. It ensures that products like bottled water, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages have a uniform taste and composition by removing impurities, minerals, and other contaminants that can affect flavor.

Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology:

• This sector demands extremely high-purity water for manufacturing medicines, vaccines, and other chemical products. RO systems are critical for removing microbial and chemical contamination to meet stringent regulatory standards, such as those set by the FDA

Wastewater Treatment and Desalination:

• RO is a key technology for treating and recycling wastewater, as it can remove heavy metals and salts. It is also essential for desalination, converting seawater and brackish water into potable or process water for industries in coastal or arid regions. This also helps companies become less vulnerable to droughts and other external environmental factors
