TurboGuard® TurboGuard High Flow Filters are typically installed upstream of the condensate demineralizers to prevent ion exchange resin bead fouling. Unique media design is focused specifically on utility applications and the specific contaminants in condensate–type systems:
TurboGuard® RF Series features multi-layer pleated construction with absolute retention ratings from 1 to 100 microns. Capable of flow rates up to 80 GPM per element, these filters offer high chemical compatibility with thermally bonded, all-polypropylene construction. Ideal for retrofitting competitive large-diameter filter housings using the "740" design, they are perfect for condensate systems.
TurboGuard® Pre-Filters are designed for optimal filtration in high-flow environments, featuring a unique inside-out flow configuration and a one-piece extruded outer cage to prevent media migration. With the highest dirt-holding capacity (up to 25 lbs) and a low-pressure drop (<0.2 bar), they ensure reliable performance. They are suitable for pre-filtering Deep Bed demineralizers, RO membrane protection, and retrofitting OEM high-flow filter housings.
TurboGuard® Housings are robust vessels designed for large geometry "high flow" TurboGuard filters in single-use, disposable applications. Available in stainless steel or carbon steel, they can be paralleled or stacked to meet high flow rates. Manufactured under ASME Code Section VIII standards, these housings are ideal for power plant applications, including pre-filters for Deep Bed demineralizers, RO membranes, and critical systems like Combined Cycle (CC) and Air Cooled Condenser (ACC) filtration.
TurboGuard® GF Series features large geometry pleated filters with micro fiberglass media, capable of handling high flows with fewer elements. With flow rates up to 500 GPM per element and absolute retention ratings from 1 to 20 microns, these filters ensure excellent dirt-holding capacity and compatibility with various chemistries. Suitable for fuel oil, chemicals, petrochemicals, solvents, and oil and gas applications, they reduce capital costs by enabling smaller systems.
