Graver Technologies Acquires Whatman Process Filter Division
Graver Technologies, a manufacturer of filtration and separation products,
announces the acquisition of the cartridge assets of Whatman’s Process
Filtration Division. The acquisition included the assets to exclusively
manufacture Whatman’s trac-etch membrane filters, gradient density
polypropylene pleated filters, dual-stage polypropylene depth filters,
and the right to use the Nuclepore‚ trademark for these cartridge
assets. The cartridge assets are being merged with the existing process
filtration business at Graver Technologies’ facility in Glasgow,
Delaware. Bruce Hafner, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, cited "The
acquisition strengthens Graver Technologies’ ongoing commitment
to the process filter business by providing a more extensive product offering,
greater resources for new product development, and stronger sales support
and technical services for our customers". "To meet the high
standards of our strategic markets, we have upgraded our facility to include
a new class 10,000 clean room, white room for membrane cartridge assembly,
and state-of-the-art production equipment to compliment our existing manufacturing
and quality control capabilities", said President and CEO Angelo
Pantaleo.
